NVNT Learning and Development aims to improve group and individual performance by increasing and honing skills and knowledge. Having said that, as much as it is possible, NVNT endeavours to provide learning journeys which will result in holistic growth and development. ‘Journey’ emphasises exploration, discovery, variety, challenge, surprises, personal challenges, destiny and the natural unfolding of learning and personal growth. We believe that sustainable growth follows when we are involved in something constructive that touches us holistically; mind, heart, body and soul. Self-awareness, authenticity and personal responsibility are fundamental to successful learning processes and include both a person’s strengths and weaknesses.

Furthermore, we believe strongly in the importance of vertical development. To use a metaphor, if traditional or horizontal development is about adding content to the cup, vertical development is about increasing the size of the cup. Specifically, it means working on developing the mindset, mental models and identity of the person. Ultimately, the learning process should result in learners becoming better leaders of themselves, others and change.

Considering that NVNT’s core focus and interest is in the business ecosystem, our catalogue of learning journeys – as we continue to develop them – will include a broad variety of fields of knowledge, disciplines and functions.
